"A Sudden Head"

In the evening, a man heard suddenly a strange knocking at his door. As he stepped beyond the doorstep, something knocked him down off his feet!

And he saw something rolling into the house: a living head rolled into the house, and it was opening its mouth and blinking!

- Crikey! - muttered the man and rose from the floor instantly, but the head began biting him for his feet – and he fell again!

- Go away, disappear, you bun! Get off my feet! - but the evil head was biting harder, and it brought the man to tears.

Someone's shadow flashed outside the window – a headless rushed into the house, grabbed his runaway head and put it on the shoulders.

Then the headless howled with glee - I'm sorry, man! – and, by holding the head with the hands, he laughed joyfully and ran away.
