"The Puppet Theater" [1996]
Song: Knyazev (text), Gorsheniov (music, lead vocals)
To the puppet theater, a dwarf invited everybody: "Those, who come tonight, will die of laughter! You will have it fun! Don’t hide your money, rich! The evening of laughter and horror!"
A plush penguin ran out onto the stage and with a thin voice yelled loudly: "Bastards are all who are sitting here at the moment now! With all of you - for no reason - I am just so angry!"
Premiere at the theater! All the puppets are alive tonight! All the puppets - tonight, tonight - are alive!
A wolf came out onto the stage and sang a song about how he recently ate half a village. And then a girl came out in her underpants and exploded into pieces in front of everyone.
Premiere at the theater! All the puppets are alive tonight! All the puppets - tonight, tonight - are alive!
A cool cowboy ran onto the stage - he shot the audience and then himself. A horrid hare shouted loudly "Fire!", threw a torch into the hall and disappeared from the stage.
Premiere at the theater! All the puppets are alive tonight! All the puppets - tonight, tonight - are alive!
Possible interpretation: A dark, but very funny song – a social satire – on the quality of public entertainment, feasts at the time of the plague, high prices and serious faces... laughing at themselves, all together gathered in a theater! Oh, black metal looks like bedtime stories in kindergarten, if to compare...
