"A Villain and a Hat" [1996]

Gorshok: Once, a certain man went to the market and came by to the very first store.

Knyaz: “Hey, salesman, well, think fast what clothes I shall pick for myself in your store – my nature is evil and I desire power. My blood is hot and my passion is fierce.

Gorshok: I want everyone, on seeing my appearance, avoid me and understand instantly who I am from the inside!”

Gorshok: The seller understood that it was not a simple deal. What could he offer?

Knyaz: “I would not like to offend you, man, but it would be better not to meet such as you at all. I think I know what will suit you. Everyone shall instantly understand your nature!”

Gorshok: He opened an old chest, took out a hat and uttered, “At one time, the very Carl the Great was wearing it!”

Gorshok: “Perfect!” the villain smiled. He admired the new hat.

Knyaz: He walked home, showing the hat off and being proud. In front of the mirror in his bedroom, he spanned all the evening. But when he took off the hat, something terrible happened.

Gorshok and Knyaz: Together with the hat, his head was taken off as well!

Gorshok: “I want everyone, on seeing my appearance, avoid me!”
