In my chronicle, there is the last chapter. Unfortunately, its story is incomplete. For the last years, almost all people in the fishing villages have gone away. That fog, which daily went from the sea deep into the mainland… I witnessed how the coasts were emptying.

The world was changing in my presence. The call of the natural powers sowed savage fear in human hearts. The son of Dagon himself rose from the sea depths – that was the destiny’s unkind sign.

Every day, unbridled evil grew in human minds.

An entry in the diary: "I am losing my mind again... Again in my head I hear a strange noise, but today I began recognizing sounds. This is someone’s call, and I cannot resist it. A thunderstorm rages outside, and my eyes are starting from their sockets. My sight in the mirror is so dreadful!

All were paving a path to the sea through a different essence. Someone was crawling to the water: a tumbledown, old wharf was the beginning of all beginnings in his destiny. He dragged with himself his old notebook, desperately trying to write something in it. And then he dived, disappearing under the water. The surf rattled, carrying him away.

A new young race was born under the water...
