"The Cursed Old House" [2001]
Song: Knyazev (text), Gorsheniov (music, lead vocal)
In an overgrown park, there is an old house: the windows are nailed shut, and darkness reigns forever in it. I tried to say "There are no monsters on earth," - but suddenly a dreadful voice spoke from the darkness... the voice from the darkness:
"It hurts to see the daylight – I am better off in total darkness. For many-many years, I dream only about food. I am cramped, locked up, and I dream of one thing – to get free as soon as possible and to leave my tumbledown old house, the cursed old house!"
There lived an old man and died. He was blind and terribly wicked. No one remembered about him since that cold winter. The neighbors did not bury him then, they only found planks and decided to nail shut the door and windows.
"It hurts to see the daylight – I am better off in total darkness. For many-many years, I dream only about food. I am cramped, locked up, and I dream of one thing – to get free as soon as possible and to leave my tumbledown old house, the cursed old house!"
The rural people walk this place away, and the superstitious ones keep on saying, "There live ghosts!"
