In the night, the wind howled and the rain was strong. Someone knocked at the door – I immediately opened it! Outside, there stood a monk, drenched and chilled, and I let him in.

I sat him at the table and he was silent. I served him tea, but again someone knocked at the door.

The same monk stood outside the door and looked up at me: "Please, give me a night shelter – I lost my way."

But I replied: "Look at yourself, who do you think you are to fool me around?" And he told me: "You know me, I dropped by last night." I closed the door with a smile and did not let him in: "You did not really surprise me, I have seen quite much in my life!"

I returned into the house and got shocked – there was my guest sitting with a cup of tea: I saw him and myself beside him!
